Dealer and agent onboarding
How do we onboard a new dealer or agent with the business documents checked, the agreement signed and system access granted only after approval?
Run onboarding as a checklist the dealer clears through a link, with the approval gating the access. Callvu prefills the application from the dealer's registration, classifies the requirements for the dealer type and the markets (the business verification and beneficial owners, the licenses and the tax registrations, the insurance, the financial standing, the store locations, the principals' background and sanctions screening, the training), collects each through the dealer's link, checks the business against the registries and the owners against the screening lists, chases what is missing on the onboarding clock, routes the approval to the channel management desk in the Decision Desk with the checks, has the agreement and its addenda signed by an authorized principal, and only then provisions the dealer's codes and system access, writing the active dealer with its scope and the compliance obligations to the BSS, the system of record, and the dealer management system. The problem today
The dealer sold for two months on a code the sales manager requested by email, and the fraud team found the owner on a sanctions list.
Dealers and agents sell in the carrier's name, handle customer identity and payment data, and generate commissions. Onboarding them is a sales priority, so it happens fast and loosely: a package by email, a code issued to get the store open, the agreement signed later by someone whose authority nobody checked, the owners never screened. The exposure arrives as subscription fraud, commission fraud, a privacy breach or a regulator's question about who sells for the carrier.
The requirements are checks against records: the business's existence and its beneficial owners, the licenses and tax registrations in each market, the insurance with the carrier as additional insured, the financial standing for the device inventory and the chargebacks, the principals' background and the sanctions and exclusion screening, the training and the compliance attestations (CPNI, PCI, the consumer protection rules). The agreement sets the scope and the obligations. Access follows the approval, not the sales calendar.
A dealer active in the system should mean a dealer the carrier can defend.
How it runs
From the requestto the system of record.
A sales manager or the dealer requests onboarding. Callvu opens the case with the dealer type, the markets and the products.
- Dealer principal
- Provides the documents, the owners' details and the attestations through a link, and signs the agreement.
- Sales or channel manager
- Sponsors the dealer and sees the checklist's status.
- Channel management desk
- Approves in the Decision Desk with the checks.
- Callvu
- Prefills, classifies, chases, checks, routes, captures the signature, provisions and writes.
Prefill and classify
The application is prefilled from the dealer's registration and the sponsor's request; the dealer type (an exclusive or multi-carrier retailer, an agent, a sub-dealer), the markets and the products classify the requirements: the business verification with the beneficial owners, the state and local licenses and the tax registrations, the insurance with its limits and the carrier as additional insured, the financial statements and the credit for inventory, the store locations and their fit-out, the principals' background and the sanctions and exclusion screening, the required training and the compliance attestations.
Chase and verify
Each item is requested through the dealer's link, read on arrival and checked: the business and its owners against the state registry and the beneficial ownership information, the owners and principals against the sanctions and the carrier's exclusion lists, the licenses against the issuing authority, the insurance certificate against the limits and the dates, the financials against the thresholds; what is missing or fails is chased with the specifics on the onboarding clock, and the checklist shows the sponsor where it stands.
Decide and sign
The channel management desk approves in the Decision Desk with the checklist and each check's result, and only the allowed outcomes (approve for the markets and products the checks support, approve with conditions such as a deposit or a reduced inventory, or decline with the reasons); on approval the dealer agreement and its addenda (the commission schedule, the compliance addendum, the data protection terms) are signed by an authorized principal on their own device with the authority verified.
Provision and write back
Only after the signature are the dealer codes, the store identifiers and the system access provisioned with the scope the approval set, the active dealer with its markets, products, conditions, compliance obligations and renewal dates is written to the BSS, the system of record, and the dealer management system, and the dealer's orders, activations and commissions run inside that scope from the first sale.
Where it ends: The dealer was approved on verified business, owner, license, insurance and financial checks, signed the agreement with authority, and received codes and access only then, with the BSS holding the scope every later sale and commission runs inside. The Decision Trace shows each check and the approval; the Audit Trace shows the documents, the screenings, the signature and the provisioning with time.
Runtime enforcement
What is enforcedwhile the work runs.
The regulations preloaded in Callvu Studio and the bank's own policies, applied as steps that run, not lines in a binder. A step that breaks a rule does not run, so a completed run was compliant.
The handoff
Between the front doorand the back office.
The front door
The dealer through its link; the sponsor sees the checklist.
The back office
The channel management desk approves on verified checks; provisioning follows the signature by rule.
The Decision Desk
- The checklist goes to the channel management desk in the Decision Desk with each check's result and only approve for the verified scope, approve with conditions, or decline with reasons.

Questions
What buyers ask next,answered plainly.
What is checked before approval?
The business and its beneficial owners against the registries and the sanctions and exclusion lists, the licenses and tax registrations, the insurance limits with the carrier as additional insured, the financial standing, the principals' background and the training attestations.
When does the dealer get a code?
Only after the channel management desk approves and an authorized principal signs the agreement; the codes and the access are provisioned with the approved scope.
What limits the dealer afterwards?
The approved markets, products and conditions written to the BSS, which every order, activation and commission runs inside, with the licenses and insurance tracked to renewal.
