Dealer commission dispute
How do we handle a dealer's commission dispute with the order evidence collected, the channel team deciding, and the adjustment posted?
Match the dispute to the orders and the schedule before anyone argues. When a dealer disputes a commission statement, Callvu takes the dispute on the dealer's link line by line (the statement period, the orders or activations in question, the amount expected, the reason), classifies each line (a missing order, a wrong rate or tier, a chargeback for a deactivation or a non-pay, a clawback for a return, a timing difference, a code mismatch), pulls the order and activation records, the customer's account status and the commission schedule in force, chases the dealer for the evidence their claim needs (the order confirmation, the customer's signed agreement, the activation proof) and the internal teams for what the record lacks, computes what the schedule says the line is worth, routes the decision to the channel team in the Decision Desk with the computation and the evidence, and posts the adjustment to the commission system and the dealer's account in the BSS, the system of record, with the reason stated.

The problem today
The dealer disputed forty lines by spreadsheet, the channel manager answered twelve, and the rest became a withheld remittance and a lawyer's letter.
Commission disputes are the friction in the channel: the dealer's statement does not match the dealer's own count of sales, the chargebacks are unexplained, the rate applied is last quarter's. The dispute arrives as a spreadsheet by email; the channel manager investigates by looking things up one at a time; the backlog grows, the dealer withholds cooperation, and the relationship the carrier paid to build sours.
Each disputed line has an answer in the records: the order and the activation, the customer's account status on the chargeback date, the commission schedule in force for the product and the tier, the clawback rules in the agreement, the dealer code on the order. Computed against the schedule, most lines are settled by rule, and the rest are a decision the channel team can make with the evidence in front of them. The adjustment then belongs in the commission system and the dealer's account, not in an email.
A dispute answered line by line from the record is a dealer who keeps selling.
How it runs
From the requestto the system of record.
A dealer disputes a commission statement, in whole or by line, through the dealer portal or a request to the channel manager. Callvu opens the dispute on the statement.
- Dealer
- Enters the disputed lines with the expected amounts and the reasons, and supplies the evidence through their link.
- Channel team
- Decides lines the rules cannot settle in the Decision Desk.
- Commission operations
- Posts the adjustments and sees the pattern.
- Callvu
- Takes the dispute, classifies, pulls the records, chases, computes, routes and posts.
Take and classify the dispute
The dealer enters each disputed line against the statement (the order or activation, the customer reference, the expected amount, the reason) on their link; each line is classified: a missing order, a wrong rate or tier, a chargeback (a deactivation, a non-pay, a fraud reversal), a clawback (a return, a downgrade), a timing difference across periods, a code or store mismatch, or a duplicate.
Chase and verify
The order and activation records, the customer's account status and history on the relevant dates, the commission schedule and the tier in force for the period, and the dealer's agreement terms are pulled; the evidence the dealer's claim needs (the order confirmation, the customer's signed agreement, the activation proof, the store code on the sale) is chased from the dealer, and what the record lacks (a late activation, a reversed chargeback) from the internal teams, each read and attached.
Compute and decide
What the schedule says each line is worth is computed from the records; a line the computation settles (the schedule was applied correctly, or a clear error) is resolved by rule with the explanation; a line that needs judgment (an ambiguous code, a disputed chargeback reason, a tier calculation across a restatement, a pattern that suggests fraud) goes to the channel team in the Decision Desk with the computation and the evidence and only the allowed outcomes (uphold the statement with the reason, adjust to the computed amount, adjust with a goodwill element within authority, or refer to the fraud team).
Post and write back
The adjustments are posted to the commission system and the dealer's account in the BSS, the system of record, with the reason per line, the dealer receives the resolution line by line with the computation, the disputed statement is closed, and the dispute classifications feed the commission operations review so recurring causes (a schedule loaded late, a code mapping error) are fixed at source.
Where it ends: Every disputed line was matched to the records and the schedule, settled by rule where the computation decided it and by the channel team where it did not, and the adjustment is on the dealer's account with the reason, with the causes fed back to operations. The Decision Trace shows the classification, the computation and any decision; the Audit Trace shows the dispute, the evidence and the posting with time.
Runtime enforcement
What is enforcedwhile the work runs.
The regulations preloaded in Callvu Studio and the bank's own policies, applied as steps that run, not lines in a binder. A step that breaks a rule does not run, so a completed run was compliant.
The handoff
Between the front doorand the back office.
The front door
The dealer portal or the channel manager's request, taken on the dealer's link line by line.
The back office
The channel team decides only judgment lines; commission operations post from the decision and fix causes.
The Decision Desk
- A line the computation cannot settle goes to the channel team in the Decision Desk with the computation and the evidence and only uphold with reason, adjust to computed, adjust with goodwill within authority, or refer to fraud.

Questions
What buyers ask next,answered plainly.
How does the dealer raise a dispute?
Line by line against the statement on their link, with the expected amount and the reason, and the evidence their claim needs uploaded there.
How is a line decided?
By computing what the schedule in force says it is worth from the order, the activation and the account records; lines the computation settles resolve by rule, the rest go to the channel team with the evidence.
Where does the adjustment go?
To the commission system and the dealer's account in the BSS with the reason per line, and the dealer sees the resolution line by line.
