Corporate liable to individual liable transfer

How do we move an employee's line from the company's account to their own when they leave, with each party completing their part and the line moving accounts?

Give the company and the employee each their own step in one transfer. Callvu opens the transfer from the company's administrator (who releases the line and confirms the device and the balance terms), authenticates the employee, prefills their new account or opens one through the account opening process (identity, credit, the plan chosen, the disclosures), checks the line for the holds that block a move (a device balance, a port lock, a fraud flag), routes a device payoff dispute or a credit decision outside the rules to the desk in the Decision Desk, captures each party's acceptance of the terms, and moves the line in the BSS with the number kept, the billing re-pointed from the effective date and the company's account closed for that line. The problem today

The employee kept the number, the company kept paying for it, and nobody could say who had agreed to what.

Today, without Callvu

When an employee leaves, their work number often leaves with them. The company's administrator emails the carrier; the employee calls separately; the device balance is on the company's account; the line moves, or does not, weeks later, and the company's bill keeps the charges. The carrier's record shows two conversations and no agreement.

The transfer has two sides with their own rules: the company must release the line and settle the device and the commitment it carries, with the authority of its administrator checked under the account's permissions; the employee must be authenticated, pass the credit and the disclosures for a consumer account, and accept the plan and the device terms. The move itself is a BSS transaction with an effective date that re-points the billing. One process with two parts is the only way the record shows the agreement.

A transfer each party completed on their own screen is a line that moves once.

How it runs

From the requestto the system of record.

A company's administrator requests the transfer of a line to the employee (or the employee requests it and the company confirms). Callvu opens the transfer with the line and both parties.

Company administrator
Releases the line, confirms the device balance terms and signs the release with authority checked.
Employee
Authenticates, opens or confirms their account, accepts the plan and the terms.
Credit and account desk
Decides exceptions in the Decision Desk.
Callvu
Prefills, authenticates each party, checks holds, routes, captures acceptances and moves the line.
  1. Prefill and release

The line, its number, the device and its balance, the plan and the features, the commitment and any port lock are prefilled from the company's account; the administrator, authenticated under the account's permissions, releases the line, chooses the device terms (the company pays off the balance, or it transfers to the employee with their acceptance) and signs the release.

  2. Chase and verify the employee

The employee is authenticated, and their consumer account is opened through the account opening process (identity, credit with the deposit or limit the rules set, the required disclosures) or an existing account is confirmed; they choose the plan and accept the device terms and the transfer terms on their own screen; what is missing from either party is chased on the schedule.

  3. Decide

The holds are checked (a device balance without agreed terms, a port lock, a fraud flag on either account, a credit decision outside the rules); a transfer inside the rules proceeds; an exception goes to the credit and account desk in the Decision Desk with both parties' records and only the allowed outcomes (proceed, proceed with a deposit, require the payoff first, or decline with the reason).

  4. Write back

The line moves in the BSS on the effective date with the number kept, the billing re-pointed to the employee's account, the device balance settled or transferred as agreed, the company's account updated and its contacts told, the CPNI and the authorized user settings reset for the new account, and both parties confirmed.

Where it ends: The company released the line with authority, the employee opened or confirmed their account and accepted the terms, the holds were checked, and the line moved once in the BSS, the system of record, with the billing re-pointed and both parties confirmed. The Decision Trace shows the authentication of each party, the holds and any decision; the Audit Trace shows each party's steps, the acceptances and the move with time.

Runtime enforcement

What is enforcedwhile the work runs.

The regulations preloaded in Callvu Studio and the bank's own policies, applied as steps that run, not lines in a binder. A step that breaks a rule does not run, so a completed run was compliant.

The handoff

Between the front doorand the back office.

The front door

The company's administrator and the employee, each on their own screen from their own link.

The back office

The desk decides only exceptions; the BSS moves the line from the acceptances.

The Decision Desk

  • A device balance without agreed terms, a port lock, a fraud flag or a credit decision outside the rules goes to the credit and account desk in the Decision Desk with both records and only proceed, proceed with a deposit, require the payoff, or decline with the reason.
